...Certification Details

ICV certification is a process to certify the ICV Score of a supplier or contractor by the independent pre-approved ICV Certifiers.

Purpose of ICV Certification:

  • To ensure validity and accuracy of the information provided by suppliers in terms of ICV contribution.
  • To ensure suppliers’ ICV Scores are evidence-based and calculated according to the pre-defined methodologies.

Steps for obtaining an ICV Certificate

  • 1. ICV Portal Registration

    Supplier registers on Tawteen’s ICV Digital Portal.

  • 2. Engagement

    Supplier engages with a pre-approved ICV Certifier.

  • 3. Submission

    Supplier completes and submits the ICV Scorecard to the ICV Certifier.

  • 4. Validation

    The certifier validates the ICV Scorecard using the required supporting documents.

  • 5. Certificate Confirmation

    The certifier and supplier sign the issued ICV Scorecard Certificate along with Factual Finding report (FFR).

ICV Certifiers are responsible for conducting independent reviews of the ICV scorecard for contractors and suppliers operating in Qatar, ultimately issuing ICV certificates.

Below are the key requirements for companies interested to joining the ICV Certifiers Panel:

  • Meet all mandatory ICV Certifier criteria (linked below).
  • Ensure the company’s certifier team is equipped to fulfill ICV Certifier responsibilities.
  • Complete the application form (linked below).
  • Contact the Tawteen Service Center at 40136477 to set up an electronic document submission platform.
  • Submit the application form and all required documents.
  • If the requirements are met, confirmation of acceptance and next steps will be communicated via email.

Application Reconsideration

While your application may have been declined previously, it can still be reconsidered. To initiate the reconsideration process, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Provide evidence that all comments outlined in the rejection letter have been fully addressed.
  • Ensure full compliance with the mandatory ICV Certifier criteria mentioned above.
  • Once all comments are addressed and criteria are met, contact the Tawteen ICV Team to submit the updated information for review.
  • If the requirements are met, confirmation of acceptance and next steps will be communicated via email.
  • If the requirements are not fulfilled within four months from the original application start date, the application will expire. A new application can be submitted in the following calendar year.
